Known by all visitors to the Polynesian Cultural Center(PCC) in Laie, Hawaii as Kap, he brings the cultures of Polynesia to life through numerous activities.

Kap, born and raised in Samoa, Savaii and Upolu, holds B.A. in Art 3D from BYU-Hawaii is the Senior Ambassador for the Polynesian Cultural Center. He is a world class edutainer, who has educated, and entertained, Church and Government Leaders, Celebrities, and millions of people annually, in the last 20 years.

He has travelled the world representing and promoting PCC, Hawaii Visitors Bureau, BYU-Hawaii, Hawaii, Samoa, Polynesia through Cultural Demonstrations: fire dancing, fire making, weaving, coconut husking, etc, Sports; rugby, Taekwondo; Brass and Jazz Band, etc.

Kap has lectured and assisted all levels of education; many Hawaiian Culture Language Studies programs, BYU-Hawaii and University of Hawaii ’s Pacific Studies classes, Polynesian/Pacific Art classes, Anthropology classes, in Military Facilities, the National Botanical Gardens in Kauai , the Polynesia Voyage Society (PVS) and more.

Kap, a vegetarian, believes in Health Awareness, Quality Living and Natural Healing, has also provided services to the Several Health Foundations; Heart Disease, Diabetes, Cancer and Elderly homes.

Kap has shared his love for life through his art. His sculptures, pottery, ceramics, paintings, carvings and weavings are in thousands of homes throughout the world. He works very closely with Master Carver Tui’one Pulotu, Sculpture Professor Viliami and Art Professor Mataumu Toelupe Alisa.

Kap has appeared in many Films, TV shows and Commercials, locally and Internationally: Man vs Beast II, Tasty and Meatless, Travel Channel with Samantha Brown, Miss Universe Pageant, Britney Spears Luau in Hawaii, PCC film; Fa’aSamoa , 1st and 2nd Edition, Mana, and numerous commercials, etc.


He also appeared in Magazines, Procures, banners and numerous advertisement, such as: Aloha Airline Magazine, 101 top things to do on Ohau Hawaii magazine, Hawaiian Airline magazine, Hana Hou magazine, Polynesian Cultural Center Procures, Kauai Polynesian Fest procure, Coconut Fest Kauai Fest, etc

He has supported many Polynesian Festivals: We are Samoa, Polynesian Fest in Kauai, Aloha Fest in Arizona, Utah Samoan Flag Days (2), Utah Cultural Celebration Center , Ho’omau Hawaiian Language Concert, and Surf Clubs around the Hawaiian Islands , etc.
